Following the installation of the Ledite & shielding and door frames, the general contractor and subcontractors take over for the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and interior finishes. Once the interior is completed, the equipment manufacturer installs the accelerator.
We get it right the first time
It is critically important that therapy rooms meet their specified radiation shielding levels because they cannot be tested prior to the installation of an accelerator. When rooms do not meet specifications, expensive and inconvenient remediation must be undertaken to bring the room up to spec.
Because everything is double and triple-checked, and all physics calculations are OC'd, Atomic can guarantee a tight, leak-free installation from the minute your accelerator is turned on.

Comprehensive Testing/Certification
Following construction, Atomic personnel come onsite to conduct comprehensive testing of all aspects of your facility. Every installation is visually checked for proper construction to ensure shielding integrity. Doors, motor drives and other related items are inspected for proper operation. Finally, a radiation survey is conducted after installation of the accelerator unit.
You can rest assured that upon completion of all testing, your facility will meet your established performance specifications and attenuation criteria.
